Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich has started up a TT NextPress shoe press supplied by Toscotec at their Miltenberg mill in Germany. The new shoe press has been operating efficiently for a few months and has fully achieved the targets of the rebuild.
Gulf Paper Manufacturing and Toscotec started up PM2 after a forming section upgrade at their Mina Abdullah facility in Kuwait. The successful completion of this rebuild marks a new important stepping stone in the cooperation between the two companies, after Toscotec performed a major dryer section rebuild of Gulf Paper’s packaging paper machine in 2019.
Toscotec will supply an AHEAD 1.8 tissue line to the Dominican Group César Iglesias at its production base in Santo Domingo. This is a repeat order for Toscotec who in 2019 started up a TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer on their PM1 as a replacement of an existing cast iron cylinder. The start-up is planned for 2026.
Toscotec will take part in IDEA25, one of the major Nonwovens International Conference & Exhibition worldwide, organized by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, planned from April 29th to May 1st at the Miami Beach Convention Center (FL), USA.
Portuguese tissue manufacturer Fortissue and Toscotec have started up PM1 after a groundbreaking upgrade at their Viana do Castelo production base in Portugal. This Toscotec-supplied AHEAD 2.0 line, which first began production in 2015, is now the first tissue machine in the world to operate entirely on electricity at 2,000 m/min.
