Special focus is given to diffuser design, head losses, and internal flow velocity. All models can include cross-profile control systems - available in manual or automatic versions - with adjustable lip openings.

The fourth-generation MasterJet headbox from Voith Paper delivers excellent improvements in formation and energy efficiency. It provides significantly enhanced jet quality, enabling streak-free sheets, and superior paper properties. A newly developed pulsation damper with a flexible membrane separates air from the pulp suspension, ensuring high cleanliness, stable operation, and zero pressure loss – resulting in reduced energy consumption. Additional innovations, such as the new EdgeMaster, further enhance cleanliness and operational simplicity.

These solutions regulate basis weight and ensure optimal CD profiles. OnQ ModuleJet and OnQ ModuleTap are specifically developed for dilution headboxes, where the basis weight controller adjusts dilution water in each control zone to equalize the profile.
